The type of characteristics and types of support offered is described by teacher two is described as someone who possess strong leadership organizing skills. Teacher two believes coaches and mentors should have a good enough relationship with their mentee to help determine his or her strengths and weaknesses. The teacher believes the mentor will be able to help their mentee more effectively when the teacher is ware of their or her strengths and weaknesses. Motivating others by giving them recognition and praise can be considered a direct application of positive reinforcement. Recognition is a strong motivator because it is a normal human need to crave recognition.
A teacher with high expectations for his or herself will ultimately pass that quality on to their students. Caring comes naturally for great teachers. When a teacher genuinely cares for the students entrusted to them, they are able to reach them with greater ease. Great teachers make their classroom a place where caring is the norm. In a climate of care, students are more inclined to take up for each other, protect each other, and teach others how to care.
What does the statement, “Students not only care what you know, but want to know you care” mean to you? This statement to me means, that there are students who not only seek for a teacher with knowledge, but a teacher who will appreciate them as a student, and encourage them to succeed. This is because many students are discouraged by those teachers who are in a classroom because it is their job rather than their passion. Everyday I encounter different students with different personalities, but through my experience with children, I have learned that, the most common students are those who are in need of a caring hand and support. For example, I once worked with a group of fifth graders who were all very well behaved, but there was one boy
I think what makes a good student is a hard worker that is going towards success and not following but leading. Another thing that makes a good student is someone who has good behavior, works on their school work, participates and puts forth effort. Another example of what makes a good student is somebody who takes a risk at class work they don’t know. That’s what really makes a good student because if they try hard and practice they will become a success. Those are the things I think make a good student.
The may find it harder to struggle in school since teachers do not know that they have a disability and instead they could be just labelled as lazy, stupid or dumb. The students that have been labelled may feel that the school doesn’t think that they are capable to study and work towards getting the best grades. This is because they are labelled for having a disability even though they don’t, so they think that the only reason why the teachers thinks the have a
It also helps us relate in a way say, “we have all been there” when he describes his personal feelings. Some examples are when in the beginning he says he like to think he has control of everything in his life but sometimes it just doesn’t work that was, or when the educator was getting extremely confrontational with the attendant and he felt he was stuck or didn’t want to be acquainted with her. His audience is probably the hardest
So to school you must go.” This shows us that Atticus doesn’t want his children to be brought up like he was. He doesn’t like it when Scout doesn’t want to go to school because he values her education and wants her to have a better education than he did. A third point is that Atticus wants his children to be kind people. This is shown by “If you hadn’t fallen into her hands, I’d have made you go and read to her anyway.” This shows us that Atticus cared for everyone in Maycomb and he wants his children to as well. The reason he would have sent Jem to Mrs Dubose is that he wanted Jem to know what kind of person she was instead of the way Jem actually viewed her.
Sometimes the purpose of an educator is not evident and that the direction of the education is uknown. However a great teacher is eventually recognised for their teaching talents and gains respect from their students. Paul initially doubted Keller’s teaching abilities, but eventually recognised his talents and found himself relating and learning to the
• How might factors such as diversity, attitude, learning, and work styles affect collaboration? I think that diversity does not really affect collaboration unless people are just immature. Just because someone is different then you should not affect what work does and does not get done. On the other hand I do think that attitude, learning, and work styles could affect collaboration because if anyone has a bad attitude in the group they will most likely not listen to anyone’s ideas and be negative all day. I also think that a person learning ties into their work styles because someone can be taught a different way and that is the way that they work and one person might be upset about that.
It is important for a man to achieve his goals, to prove his competence and feel good about himself. According to Author John Gray, understand characteristic about men, can help us understand why men resist so much being corrected or told what to do. A man will also offer a solution to a woman when she is feeling upset. He will try to help solve her problem, to feel valued or worthy of her love. A man does not understand that he can be supportive just by listening and showing empathy.
