A true hero needs to have three qualities to be an important one, who has great significance. One quality that a hero needs is strength, which has many different levels to it. Another quality is courage, which also has different degrees and sides to it. The third quality that a hero truly needs is being caring or having the ability to love which shows great intensity. Strength has different levels and qualities to it that make it a quality a hero needs. This could be having the strength to slay an enemy. However strength can also be one’s ability to lift a sword or shield above their head and not strain. Strength is like Bedivere’s willing to throw a sword of great power into the lake upon the king’s wishes. Courage can be anything from being able to do something you’re afraid of or having the will to do something you don’t want to do but have to. Courage shows in a person’s ability to be brave when they are scared to do something. Courage shows in a person who continues on when they are in danger. King Arthur showed courage by going on with his battles weather injured or dying he still kept straight with what to do. Care is shown by the king making choices that are right for his land. Love is shown by Lancelot when he loves Guinevere so much that he betrays his best friend. Care is also shown by the knights keeping on going to fight for their kingdom. Love is shown when the king has the Excalibur thrown back into the lake so it doesn’t harm people after he dies. In conclusion it is important for hero’s to have these qualities for they show the people around them that they care for them. Without these qualities a hero wouldn’t be a hero for they wouldn’t be showing people that they truly do what they are doing because it comes from their heart.
