Lifelong Wellness How do you plan on maintaining lifelong wellness? First of all, I have to consider what the definition of wellness is. According to the book, “Invitation to Health with Pretests,” wellness is defined as a, “purposeful, enjoyable living or more specifically, a deliberate lifestyle choice characterized by personal responsibility and optimal enhancement of physical, mental, and spiritual health” (Hales 4). Also, the book mentioned that our health reflect the six dimensions of health; physical, social, intellectual, environmental, emotional, and spiritual health. So, in order to maintain lifelong wellness, we have to maintain all of these dimensions of health.
Belief is learning to communicate with different people should be a learning experience. Intellectual health: College, College allows a person to open their mind and think on a higher level. Skills that already been taught are retaught on a much more in depth level. An activity that reflects environmental health is the way you treat the environment around you. Belief is to be always prepared for anything and to think positive to have a healthy mind.

Physical health: I come from an obese family, and I have always been an average weight because I strive to keep myself physically healthy and eat right. Social health: I try to make it a point to meet new people and make more friends wherever I go so I can keep my social life healthy and active. Environmental health: I like to have a nice, clean, organized and stress free environment where I can concentrate and relax and feel safe.
