Intellectual health: Reading is one of my favorite pass times. I believe that this not only provides stress relief for me but I try to read articles and self-help books that teach me new things. In the teenage stage of life it is very important to eat a balanced diet high in protein, carbohydrate, water, vitamins and minerals as this assists them in their developments in puberty, helps them stay within their ideal weight, helps with their focus in school work and sport activities. As young adults/full grown adults (men and women) men are allowed a daily intake of 2500 calories and women are allowed 2000 calories a day. These calories should be made up of 5 a day balanced diet. Their diets should be high in fats, carbohydrates, fibre, sugars, water, vitamins and minerals as these components contribute to keeping an adult health and preventing certain illness’, maintenance of appropriate BMI, maintenance if ideal weight and above all the sufficient amount of nutrients the body needs at that stage to perform very well. At old age eating a diet rich with vitamins, proteins, fibre and water contributes to making their immune system function better as well as keeping their blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol level low.
The fact that milk is healthy to the body, it is encourage and recommended in feeding infants and kids for a strong and healthy growth. Milk has a tremendous affect in bone growth and strength. A consistency consumption of milk overtime can help reduce loss of bone structures and strength once entering at an older age range. Physical health: I would describe my physical health as average. I am able to do all my daily activities, but I do not do physical exercise daily. I do not often get sick. Social health: I believe I am perfectly healthy in this dimension. I love to socialize with other people and do so on a daily basis.
Integration of psychology and theology faces many challenges. McMinn (2011) suggests that competent Christian counselors should not only be well educated in theology and psychology, but also have a firm understanding of Spirituality. In order for a counselor to have competency in all areas required to make an effective counselor they must expand their training to include education that enriches their spiritual side (McMinn, 2011). In counseling the majority of the worldview is mostly secular. McMinn (2011) suggests that Christian counselors should challenge the majority worldview and reinforce the Christian doctrine.
It can simply mean watch certain food s that you enjoy eating at certain times of the day as well as what works best with your metabolism. Certain genetics require more attention to what foods are going inside that particular body. When it comes to exercise you have to find balance. For instance, i believe it is always good to include 15-30 minutes of cardio to any exercise routine. This does not necessarily mean that you have to lift weights either.
I’m eating and drinking all the right foods and drinks like I’m suppose to do. And also I’m keeping up with my exercise like I’m suppose to do as well so I really do not have any risk factors at the present moment that I can truly say that I’m at a risk factor of having breast cancer. Well my risk factor for the breast cancer disease is very low. From what I see I must be doing the right thing for my health which is very good. Cause I would want to hear good news about my health than a risk of bad health problems all the time.
I always able to figure things out no matter how much pressure I am under. I usually do well in school and other things that require intellectual health. I have grown to be environmentally healthy because in the past I used to be a litter bug. I used to just throw my trash out anywhere and now I take time out and find a trash bin.
