My Learning Style Assessment Results ~ * Auditory ~ After taking the Learning Style Assessment I have learned that I am an Auditory Learner. This really surprised me, I was not aware of this. My test results were, Auditory 45%, Visual 40%, and Tactile 15%. As a Auditory Learner, I learn by hearing and l istening. It told me that I understand and remember things I have heard. I store information by the way it sounds, and I have an easier time understanding spoken instructions than written ones. And that I often learn by reading out loud because I have to hear it or speak it in order to know it. This is very true. As I read my results I realized that I did all of these things it listed. It said that I like to see what I am learning, I am also usually neat and clean. I often close my eyes to visualize or remember something and I will find something to watch if I become bored. It also stated that I may have difficulty with spoken directions and may be easily distracted by sounds. But I am attracted to color and to spoken l anguage (like stories) that are rich in imagery. * Tactile ~ Lastly I am a Tactile Learner. I learn by touching and doing. I understand and remember things through physical movement. I am a "hands-on" learner who prefers to touch, move, build, or draw what I learn, and I tend to learn better when some type of physical activity is involved. I need to be active and take frequent breaks, I often speak with my hands and with hand gestures, and I may have difficulty sitting still. As a tactile learner, I like to take things apart and put things together, and I tend to find reasons to tinker or move around when I become bored. I may be very well coordinated and have good athletic ability. I can easily remember things that were done but may have difficulty remembering what
