The pillar that stands out the most to me is responsibility. Responsibility is an often overlooked quality. In today’s society responsibility is very important. In these trying times we must all remain accountable for our actions and obligations. As an aspiring educator I believe that no other profession requires responsibility levels as high as those of a teacher.
Before this class, I did not know how to calculate AGI or hoe to determine whether an item was a considered as taxable and able to be claimed as an itemized deduction. I was not aware of the 2% cap also. 2. Discuss how this course has affected you in your professional development as a student and as a person as well as encouraging you on your academic path. I am in a unique academic situation where I am in school for both career reasons and for personal knowledge; I am learning a lot and taking away even more.
I really want to succeed in school as well as in life. I am having problems getting my essay to come together and interest my instructors. I really need to quit second guessing myself and just let the words flow onto the paper. Becoming a master student is my goal. I need to become a master student to succeed in my academic and professional career.
Looking back, there were several poignant moments when I was struggling with my classes and would have given up trying to achieve my goals. However, I chose to endure those moments because I believe that those challenges were there for my betterment. For example, my Accounting and Microeconomics class last semester served to be one of the greatest challenges I had to go through. There came a point when I almost failed several long tests and had a low grade in several class activities. The difficulty pushed me to work harder and harder.
High school is very important to every teenager for several reasons. High school gives students many things that they would not obtain from everyday living. One major thing that Botstein forgets to mention is that high school teaches students leadership skills. In high school, students learn how to make decisions that help lead themselves and their friends out of certain circumstances. If a high school student is offered
As a teacher you groom and mold your students always teaching them new criteria they need to know for their future. That is why as an educator I want to continue my own enlightenment by obtaining a Master’s degree. By becoming a principal it enables me to become a lifelong learner by observing great teachers, support disenfranchised students by being the constant figure at the school as kids move from class to class or from district to district but most of all I would get the opportunity to watch the students grow over their entire school grade career, not only physically but mentally and

Effective classroom management for me is a huge component of what I attempt to do in my daily environment. Without consistent boundaries, my students would walk all over me. I would not be able to get past Chapter 1 if I did not plan and execute highly engaging, rigorous, and motivating lessons. Because of this course, I have been exposed to many wonderful resources to aid me in this quest. Jones and Jones (2008) have compiled a list of basic assumptions about classroom management.
In order to display leadership, I believe that one has to have the ability to be a leader. Being a leader to me means to be able to act as a guide, or be an influence in every aspect of our lives. Whether it is lending out our hand to people, helping teachers pick up trash and organize the classroom, acting as a leader by stepping up and doing something that you’re afraid to do, or just simply by doing more than what you’re expected to do, these are all qualities of being a leader. I believe that a leader is someone who puts forth their best efforts every time, and I believe that a leader is one who is able to be one hundred and then percent, even when one is only required to be one hundred percent. Leaders are often “over achievers,” and do the most that they can the absolute best that they can.
This seems to work but there are times I feel under pressure to offer support and guidance to them within both roles, this can mean disruption within the classroom so I have to encourage them to contact their own assessors with any queries they may have. My role as a teacher begins with the induction process, which includes all the necessary paperwork for the college, as well as the portfolio paperwork required. The process of supporting the learners with getting to know each other, feeling confident etc, as for many of them they are returning to learning after a long spell away from academic work, is vitally important in order for them to continue with the course as well as making their learning experience a positive one. In terms of the teaching training cycle, I endeavour to take this on board within my role, by beginning with assessing learner’s needs to ensure the
