Whereas crossing your arms or legs, sideway glances could block effective communication.

Makaton is a common form of non-verbal communication that I may be required to use when communicating with an individual who struggles with communication, because of a speech or hearing impairment .Makaton is one form of sign language that can be used, there is also British sign language as well, both are just as effective as each other when communication with an individual, who has a hearing impairment.
