A little seven year old was only drawing the other day in class. Unfortunately he drew a gun, and ended up being suspended from school. It happened in a town up in New Jersey, which also had four kindergarteners sent home because of playing “cops and robbers.” These incidents show that something has to be changed, because are these kids the true cold blooded killers? The article was not biased; it only gave facts that needed to be known by the American public. This article opens my eyes and shows me that America may be going in the wrong direction to stop gun control. This is very useful because I’ll be able to use this as what Gun Control should not come to. Another use of this article will allow me to use a pathos appeal because readers will sympathize with a young boy being suspended from school for simply drawing a picture. Many people want to relate their ideas with ordinary people. This man can be considered an average white male, but just like George W. Bush, people want someone they can relate with and understand better than some big wig at the NRA. In conducting this interview, I immediately realize he is absolutely for the right to own a firearm. He has many weapons, and knows very much about them. He also has interesting views on the issue of gun control and is willing to share them. I personally learned that owning a gun, doesn’t mean you are for everyone owning guns. His opinion, a very wise one indeed is extremely useful to me.
