Purpose/Objectives The purpose of this policy is to ensure the no individual should be able to execute a high-risk transaction or conceal errors or fraud in the normal course of their duties. This policy must be in compliance with GLBA. Scope This policy applies to all employees, systems, and customers of ABC Credit Union. Standards All employees will be separated into group/departments and each department will have specific duties assigned to them.
Provide an example of formal and an example of informal documentation that would normally be maintained in an employee file, indicating how each is likely to protect an employer. Informal documentation would include anything that is contained put in the employee file that is not required to be a part of the file. Some employees ask for certain things to be put into the file. These things would include personal achievements like certificates. Anytime an employee is recognized for doing something that could be considered as going above and beyond.
The process of making decisions in the ethics games were based on the position of employment within the company. The position within the company can change based on an employee’s level. Ever employee has a duty to report issues, it is the position held that changes in what to do with the information. With the position held in these games the first process was protecting the shareholders and thinking of how this could affect those involved.
