Response 1: The candidates being considered to take on the administrator role at the Ambulatory Care Center, due to current administrator retiring, are Taneshia, Felipe, and Amanda. The first candidate is Taneshia and her style of management is of a more directive approach. This is a strong quality to have when trying to accomplish specific goals and deadlines. She poses the necessary Knowledge to manage and provide proper coaching to her fellow employees. Her ability to increase revenue for center brings forth her skills in her business oriented thinking. Her extensive knowledge in technology especially in a healthcare sets the pace for future progress. On the other hand, her self-centered and opinionated personality may result in an increased employee turnover. Felipe is the second candidate with a more participative type management style which helps in the interaction with fellow employees and patients as well. His knowledge with managed care companies gives him the understanding of the policies and changes affecting reimbursements. His involvement with community gives him integrity and the connection in understanding how people are motivated. The emphasis he puts on how deeply he cares of what people think of him can be a downfall, not all decisions are well received. Amanda, the third candidate, with her professional management style might benefit the business aspect of the center.
