Knowing the Human Service Professional and their drive for helping is truly compelling. Sometimes we realize many people with a need will not ask for help; this is when the research steps in. Encountering a person in the Human Service Profession would be a privilege because while in this particular job; it is not just a career; it is a way of living. Many of us are born and raised to help one another.
I have served an abundant amount of my time by giving back to my community. I enjoy being involved in outreach programs that involve the aid for some of the countries that have immeasurable amounts of poverty. Just by being dedicated to my community has showed me a gateway of other qualities that I have acquired, such as: fairness, and citizenship. This will show my character, and help to become an even superior leader. My character shows a lot about me as a person.
Volunteering in schools, neighborhoods, and the local festival help bring unity to the community. This gives its residents an opportunity to spend time together and be responsible for the livelihood of one another. This coming together of the residents with common goals helps the community thrive as a whole which benefits its future success. Investing monetarily is also a part of giving back to help the community. This helps to support those who are less fortunate and give to causes that need a solution or cure.
Residents and employees make it known that the help being offered is one of the most importance. The community of which the facility sits also sees the benefits of having this reentry program. Looking at where the program started and where it is now proves that it is something that is important to society. The second chance which is given to these men and woman which take residency at VOA, gives them a learning experience and a chance at rehabilitation. With the continued support from the government and its departments the future of VOA is one that can be seen as a positive one.

The good thing about public sector volunteering is that if you can do well you might be considered for a post if one turns up. Volunteers help do a lot of things in the public services; they provide new ideas, raise funds, provide extra help, provide expertise, provide time and respond in an emergency. Volunteers help to bring new ideas to the public services for example the police would want to know how to improve their local area so by having volunteers from that area they will be able to get the opinions of people that actually live in the local area and this will then help the police to do their jobs more effectively this also links to how they provide help to the public services, they help the police to do their jobs better so that they can have a better local areas. The hospitals have a lot of volunteers that allow them to run effectively they have these because hospitals are not easy to manage so having extra help for free helps them get more things done. Volunteers help raise funds for hospitals because there are certain areas that the government can’t fund will get help for example volunteers raise money to help
I would want to know what family it provided food for, and how it was able to help any family. Also, I would ask if my money could be separated to different countries so I can help more than just one family. Furthermore, I would actually like to know if the families appreciated the money that I have donated, and would not mind to donate more as long as it’s going to a good cause the right way. In conclusion, Care has done a wonderful job by helping out those people who actually need help. They have shown over the years that just being there for someone can go a long way.

Also, it helps the youth develop good work habits that will affect them in the future because if they are already working without pay, they will be looking more forward to working with pay (Kathryn Plath).Because a teen has volunteered, they are more likely to get accepted into college. Another benefit of volunteering is that the volunteer gets to explore the world around them. For example, a teen may volunteer at a homeless shelter and get to see what life is like for a person that may not have a house.
