Life sets out many different pathways that eventually leads to your future. For me, life gives me experiences that had a huge impacts on me and my future. I came to America from Vietnam when I was five years old, way back in November of 2000. Before coming to America I was nervous and did not know what to expect on my first time flying on an airplane. My First flight was probably the most memorable experiences that I have ever had in my life. This experience also had a great impact on me the most because it was a lot of fun and exciting to go somewhere over sea. I have ridden in a boat before back in Vietnam, it was fun to ride on a boat but it was nothing compare to this flight. I was afraid of heights, so at one time I told my parents that I was too scare to do it, but I had no choice because the tickets was already bought. On the day of the flight my family woke up at 6:00am and we were out the door at 7:00am. We have already packed 3 days ahead of times so that I knew I wasn’t missing anything as we head to Tan Son Nhat International Airport, located seven kilometers (4.3 miles) to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, and is the largest airport in the country. The ride that I had to get there has to be the longest ride I have been on. When I was on the car ride to the Airport it felt like time had slowed down and it was torturing me for how long it took to get there. We eventually arrived at Tan Son Nhat International Airport and the first thing we did was look for our flight to America.
