Savannas have warm temperature year round. There are actually two very different seasons in a savanna; a very long dry season (winter), and a very wet season (summer). The tropical savanna is generally found in regions dominated by the wet-dry tropical climate such as Australia, and Africa. An extensive cover of tall grasses, sometimes reaching a height of 3 meters, is found in the tropical savanna. Most savanna grass is coarse and grows in tufts with intervening patches of bare ground.

Added to such tropical climates are the stunning stretches of beaches, so wherever you are, there will be a beach in close proximity. These beaches are all gently sloping and therefore sandy, which is evidence of a typically depositional coastline, formed by constructive waves adding fine sediments. This makes the Florida beaches attractive to tourists.
Even though the climate in these areas may be a little arid, the river keeps the people with water and provides them what they need in order to create a society and living with happiness. People also used other things in the physical environment such as wood. Many trees were cut to provide wood for people and then they used wood to create other things like timber. The human ability to modify the physical environment is something seen often when you are studying history. People that cooked got their food from the crops they got.
Some of the plants in the Rideau River are carnivorous. o Yellow-flowered bladderwort captures and digests microscopic invertebrates. o Invasive plant species: Eurasian Water Milfoil is a plant that grows in thick tangles. These plants can reproduce very quickly because they do not rely on seeds alone to spread. Eurasian water milfoil can grow out of clippings from the plant.
The Parklands has waterfalls, boardwalks, lookouts, shady places. The Parklands promotes the sustainability, a natural and social environment. The park uses rubbish collection and also uses recycled water to keep the plants alive; the re-use of the gray water is good for the drought in Brisbane. The Parklands is very accessible with numerous forms of transport and is also a great way to have a pleasant walk through to the city. (See appendix

Marshes are defined as wetlands that are periodically or permanently covered by stopped or slow moving water. Marshes are rich in nutrients and are known for there vegetation of reeds, rushes, cattails and sedges. Marshes are the most productive wetlands habitat. Swamps are mostly populated by shrubs or trees.
