Disability is defined as someone with physical or mental impairments or incapacity, which has a long-term effect on his/her ability to carry out his or her day-to-day activities. (Indirect 2014), according to the Equality Act 2010 disability is define as a physical and mental impairment with substantial long term negative effects on the individual ability to perform normal daily activity (Equality Act 2010). For example, a person with sensory impairment such as vision or deaf and mute; physical impairment from illness that affect mobility or control of movement such as stroke, Parkinson disease, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, spine bifida or muscular dystrophy; progressive disease such as cancer at the terminal stage or dementia; mental health condition such as bipolar affective disorders, phobic anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder. In a way or another all these types of disabilities put some limitation to the individual’s life.
