Nobody in the family had talked to Royal in decades until he found that Etheline was considering marrying another man in which case he told her that he was dying in order to try to get back in the family but truthfully trying to stop the marriage. In the film the parents have very unique parenting styles as well as many forms of symbolism which I will be discussing a few of these. Royal and Etheline had very different teaching styles which took two different extremes. Royal had almost completely deserted the children and had almost no involvement in their lives. That is except for Richie who had become a professional tennis player very young.
There was no time for fun or being a child. And if you were a child my aunt and uncle made you responsible one. You had to help; “no pain, no gain”. I was always excited when my dad came and we went back home. My cousin used to tell me that there was no way she would move to town and leave country and all the things she likes to do there.
I went behind my mother’s back to do it even though she begged me to stay. Nana told me that day that she was the only one that loves me, that she is all that I have, that I am nothing without her and if I leave, she will die. Those words have been replaying in my head ever since I saw her dangling from the tree the day I returned from my father’s house. If I knew

Which is why we should all make a mental note of this moment right her. Right here in this moment is when we take the first step into adulthood. I know that as I look out at all of you, I will measure my time here in a much different way. I will measure it in all the friendships I've enjoyed these last four years. I must admit as I
I have never been the one to be in any legal trouble with the law. If I were a person who had a tendency to get into trouble some things that would keep me from getting into trouble would be my family, my career, and my goals. My family would be the main reason because I have two girls that look up to me to provide for them. If I get into legal trouble there is a possibility that I could go to prison. If I were to go to prison who would care for my children just as I care for them.
