9/11 Conspiracy Theories. There is a theory that agrees with the widely accepted point that the 9/11 attacks were carried out entirely by Al-Qaeda. There is one that proves otherwise. Were the 9/11 invasions a secret plan ordered by the United States government, or were the United States truly under a terrorist attack? On September 11, 2001, four commercial flights were hijacked. All planes were full of passengers. One aircraft crashed in a field in Pennsylvania, one hit the Pentagon, and the other two hit the World Trade Center in New York City. A few months later, skeptics formed a group called the “9/11 Truth Movement” (911Truth.org, 2013). The group found a number of evidence and facts that make some of the attacks of 9/11 a set up and in some cases, nearly impossible. One of the most popular claims of the “9/11 Truth Movement” was the World Trade Center falling was a controlled demolition. People always debate — maybe what we know is the truth, or maybe we will never know the truth of who was the mastermind of 9/11.
