Ralph, unlike Simon, has not figured out that he is fighting not only Jack, but the evil inside all mankind. Simon had figured that out when he had his "conversation" with the pig's head. The head told Simon "I'm part of you." Since Simon's conversation was part of an epileptic hallucination, the realization that the evil is inside of man must have come from Simon himself. Unfortunately Ralph, has been so focused on trying to lead the boys, thinking they would follow him simply because he was chief.
They can change from a friendly loving man to a juggernaut that kills everything in its way. In the novel, “Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” Dr. Jekyll took drugs that changed him into this new person, a person that has “Satan’s signature” all over its face, a person that is careless and reckless, and a slaughter machine who does what he wants, when he wants, and whenever he wants. Dr. Jekyll turned into a new human being with a name of Mr. Hyde. Mr. Utterson was suspicious of Mr. Hyde and wanted to find out who he was. He searched for him and tried to find out his identity.
Justice cannot be served if you have red-herrings which put you off track.Another feature that Cameron Nunn has used to show justice, through the use of the mystery detective genre, is suspects. An example where it shows this featureis on page 103 – “Thomas Dyson, a large muscular boy with a foolishgrin. It was easy to imagine him as the thug who tormented the juniors.‘It’s got to be him.’” The effect of the technique is that David and Simonsuspect Thomas Dyson to be the bully of the school. This adds tension to thereader by revealing the suspects and questioning if it could be them or not. As aresult, the boys go to Thomas Dyson’s house believing that he is the one whokilled Pieter Lehr.
One of the biggest themes that the author tries to get across to the reader is that every person has good and evil in them, but they are not equal. Throughout the book, there is a huge struggle between good and evil between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. These two men are actually the same person, but Dr. Jekyll takes a potion to turn himself into Mr. Hyde so he can do evil deeds. He does this because everybody has urges to do evil things, but Dr. Jekyll could not risk losing his reputation as a “good” guy in the society that he lives in. The main question is if good and evil can be separated, or is everyone stuck between the fight of both.
On the other hand we have Dr. H. H. Holmes. He stated that he was “born with the devil”. Not only was a he a frivolous murderer but he also did deranged things. When a local pharmacy went on sale, Holmes quickly bought it and made larges plans to turn it into a murdering sanctuary equipped with secret rooms and weird vaults. This he used to lure his victims in and then murder.
The theme of evil comes into play when reading this book. Holmes has had murder on his mind since birth. Holmes said in his confession, “I was born with the devil in me. I could not help the fact that I was a murderer, no more than the poet can help the inspiration to sing.” (pg. 1) He saw the World’s Fair as an opportunity to perform many experiments, tortures, and murders.
People resist change for several reasons. Some people resist change because of poor communication. The changes may not be communicated thoroughly or efficiently therefore leaving people confused and more inclined to resist; miscommunication can cause resistance. Fear of the unknown is also a reason to resist change. People may be scared to do something different because they don't know what the outcome will be; they are scared to take a chance or a risk.

(4) The downfall of responding defensively all of the time though may discourage others from being so honest with their remarks. It can also prevent the listener from concentrating upon the message. Not only do defensive communicators send off multiple value, motive and affect cues, but also defensive recipients distort what they receive. As a person becomes more and more defensive, he or she becomes less and less able to perceive accurately the motives, the values and the emotions of the sender. (5) In conclusion I know I have to work on both of these ineffective listening skills to better my communication between fiends, co-workers, and society in

The only way you can meet Patrick Bateman, is if he kills you. This is getting confirmed several times through the movie/novel. The homicides he commit look all the same.
