Hitler like many others of this time blamed the Jews for the country’s defeat back in 1918. The authorities of German targeted
When Israel was established in 1498, many Jewish people fled to that territory for safety. By 1933, around 170,000 Jewish refugees had migrated to Israel (“Aftermath”). By 1943, the death camps meant for exterminating Jews were closed down . Once the camps closed, prisoners were sent off to walk to the camps in Germany. Many died during these walks, so this journey became known as the “Death March” (“Timeline”).Death Marched took place because Germans wanted to use these prisoners as forced laborers in Germany.
With that being said, many died before being able to account for what happened to them in the holocaust. Those who survived portrayed stories that were different then the men who were living within the camps during the same time. For Sara Nomberg-Przytyk, living with other women in Auschwitz, changed her life forever. After initially entering the camp, she soon saw the transition of women turning into slaves, “in a few hours we were robbed of everything that had been ours personally. We were shown here that in Auschwitz we were just numbers, without faces or soles” (Nomberg-Przytyk 15).
Holocaust happened because Hitler and the Nazis were racist. They believed the German people were a 'master race', who were superior to others. They even created a league table of 'races' with the Aryans at the top and with Jews, Gypsies and black people at the bottom. These 'inferior' people were seen as a threat to the purity and strength of the German nation. When the Nazis came to power they persecuted these people, took away their human rights and eventually decided that they should be exterminated.
Considering that God also created Evil on this earth to maintain our spiritual health and maturity, Hitler's genocide can be considered to be a punishment towards the Jewish people. The oldest religion known to mankind is Judaism and the earliest of scriptures illustrates that more than 40 Jewish prophets have been sent to earth by God. However noble one can say Jewish people are due to their religious heritage, God might have punished them for something that had been committed by the Jewish people or to prevent any future harm. Hitler often claimed that Jewish people were evil and were responsible for all evil occurring due to their immoral personality. Hence, God himself might have created Hitler as the evil that can change that with this
He believed that Jewish people were inferior to other human begins. Hitler beliefs and ideas caused him to create an army called the Nazi to help carry out his plan. The Nazis followed Adolf’s plan to kill Jewish people by creating concentration camps and gas chambers. The Nazis tortured and starved the Jewish people to their deaths. Out of fear and to avoid death themselves, many German civilians accepted Adolf Hitler leadership or they hid from him and his Nazi army.
Holocaust is a Greek word, meaning “sacrifice by fire”. The Holocaust came as a result of Hitler’s Nazi party and their racial intolerance, and quest for a pure blood line in Germany. It was part of Hitler’s final solution and involved the collection of Jews and other racial inferiors by German soldiers. The racial inferiors were sent to concentration camps after their collection; where they were forced to labour and in most cases eventually murdered (Berenbaum, 1998). In some cases, these camps were known as “extermination” or “death” camps and the Jews were killed in purpose built gas chambers and their bodies burnt in large ovens.
Psychological Effects of Holocaust According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, holocaust is defined as “A sacrifice consumed by fire.” This has an eerie relation to the suffering that millions of Jews faced during the Holocaust of World War Two. Even though the war ended sixty-six years ago, the effects are still felt today. The long term effects of the Holocaust are numerous and still showing effects and will be for the unforeseeable future. The Holocaust beginnings of the Holocaust began in Germany in 1933. According to The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, “The Holocaust was the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators.” The Nazis
The thievery done by the Gypsies is what made the non-Gypsies judge them and not like them. So, because of this, Gypsies have been targets for a variety of maltreatment (Pottanat 1). When the Holocaust came about, Gypsies were persecuted severely and Hitler’s treatment of them was very harsh. In the years that led up to Hitler taking office of Third Reich, the Germans began passing laws and putting limitations on Gypsies. In 1926, Germany had begun placing severe limitations on Gypsies to watch their actions and to make sure they weren’t getting into any trouble.
For some it was the worst day imaginable, the most terrible thing ever experienced. As if having a bad dream that they wanted to be awakened from. Six-million lives taken, that’s including women, men, boys, and girls; they were massacred, sacrificed by fire. This paper will detail the bloodthirsty, nonsensical, catastrophic events of The Holocaust and the agitators (Adolf Hitler and the Nazis) who came to supremacy in January 1933. Germans believed that they were racially superior and any other race was inferior to them.
