Global warming is a serious problem which can be defined as the gradual increasing in the earth’s surface temperature. No one can deny the fact that global warming is one of the biggest problems that the human race is facing nowadays. The human race has not been lucky finding the real causes for the problem and has found that the suggested solutions were impractical. Modern science is trying to attribute the problem to many causes (Thakur, N.D). According to some historical researches and some scientific information, scientists discovered that the climate change and state are not caused by the atmosphere but depend on the interaction between the components of the climate system such as air and water (Huang & Li, 2015). Scientists discovered that carbon dioxide is an important effective gas for the greenhouse effect. Moreover, gases like carbon dioxide, methane and water vapour can affect the energy balance of the Earth. This happens because they are able to absorb the longwave radiations emitted from the Earth’s surface. The result of this process is the increasing of the amount of the heat energy in the Earth’s climatic system. With no greenhouse effect, the average of the global temperature of the Earth would change from 15 to -18 Celsius. In addition, the concentration of the carbon dioxide has increased and that is because of human influences. The releasing of this gas is caused by many activities that humans do, such as burning of fossil fuels and deforestation. As many scientists claim, this phenomenon will lead to enhancing the greenhouse effect and this will lead to making the planet warmer (Masih,…show more content…
The melting of ice is truly important because of the hundreds of millions of people living at lower areas. Those people will get affected because of their dependence on the glacier melt for water supply and electricity generation. The real danger that can affect millions of lives is the rising of sea levels. The rise will cause the terminating and disappearance of islands and the drownings of many costal countries by huge floods (Johansen & Bruce, 2008). The ministry of health and the ministry of agriculture should do a lot to take care of this dangerous problem. Due to the seriousness of this problem, the previous solution was to plant more trees, as trees help us to control this problem in three ways. They help to stop the energy from the sun to reach the earth, convert the energy into matter and the thickness the atmosphere to absorb lots of the energy radiated by the sun. Planting trees will reverse the effect of global warming by time. Actually this solution has not been that effective to humanity, but it is still called a solution (Thakur,
