Our hypothesis was the rapier plane in print paper would fly the farthest distance, because it had a bigger wing span and light weight paper. Also, we think that the dart plane in construction paper would fly the shortest distance because it has a small wing span and weighs more. We learned that aerodynamics is the study of forces and the resulting motion of objects through air. During this experiment we learned something new, four forces affect a paper airplane. They are, thrust, the forward motion or speed of the paper airplane, for our paper airplanes this is provided by your throwing the plane forward.

Blink Reflection I was driving on the highway last week, I was going to change lanes but for some reason at the last possible moment I had unconsciously decided not to. This decision allowed me to avoid an accident because the car in the other lane merged into the same that I was going to except without a turn signal. Before I read this book I thought instances like that was just me being lucky or fate but Malcom Gladwell does a good job explaining how certain parts of our unconscious thoughts allows us to make decisions on the fly that may benefit us without even realizing it. He describes the second level thinking as “ Intuitive Repulsion “ or adaptive unconscious I don’t know how much science has been put into researching this level of thinking or how we can activate it. The chapter about thin slicing was one of the most interesting parts of the book for me, I would have liked it more if he would have elaborated more on this subject.
Should Britain expand its airports to meet the needs of a Globalised World? In a globalised world, cross-cultural travel has become an apparent trend amongst individuals from all over the world whether for business purposes or for leisure. However, if there is one certainty it is that airplanes have become the number one transportation option for many who wish to travel from country to country. Nevertheless, in this essay it will be argued that Britain should not expand it’s airports to meet the needs of a globalised world because of the destruction it would cause to the environment; only corporations benefit from it; Finally, Britain’s main priority should be it’s citizens. The aircraft option for travelling is one of the most popular forms of transportation available in Britain, with cheap holiday packages indulging many locals, as well as Heathrow Airport being a stopping ground for over 32.8 million overseas visitors in 2007.
The Advancement of Aerial Warfare The invention of the aircraft was similar to many other great developments in the fact it's potential was not immediately realized. Ever since the flight of the airplane model created by the Wright brothers on December 17th, 1903, warfare has changed dramatically, making the skies a territory to claim and fight for. The airplane has not only been every resourceful when it comes to transportation, strategy, and operations but it was also enlightened to develop technology that has made warfare more lethal. Therefore, we no longer have to risk many lives because the advantage that we have of being in the air. Distance is no longer a barrier for us as it use to be and number of targets have become limitless because there is no longer something that can hide.

The vision powers include x-ray, heat-emitting, telescopic, infra-red and microscopic vision.
