That isn’t very safe. Then, another problem would be when you are at intersections. Ones that are normally controlled by stop signs would be a little easier to navigate, but what about intersections that have stops light at an intersection of two fast speed roads. Everybody would be crashing in to each other, and then that we leave us with a bunch of crunched cars and fatalities. So obviously we understand that without the rules of the road it would not be safe at intersections, but what about on roads that do not have major intersections?
Normative social influence refers to instances where someone conforms in order to fit in and gain approval or avoid disapproval from other group members and this leads to conformity. This is known as compliance. Compliance is when an individual is exposed to the views or actions of a majority, they engage in social comparison. Because identifying with a majority is desirable, they change their views/actions to fit in with them. They go along with the majority without analysing why there is a difference.
When it comes to the topic of texting while driving, most of us will readily agree that it is dangerous to the safety of oneself and others. Where this argument usually ends, however, is on the question of whether texting while driving should be illegal or not. Whereas some are convinced that driving and texting is a safe mixture. I believe driving while texting should be illegal because it distracts the driver from keeping themselves and others safe. It has been argued that texting while driving should not be banned because it is just as distracting as eating, putting on make-up, or listening to music while driving.
That window you had to stop now is very small and the chances of stopping safely are low. You may crash into the car or try to stop and lose control of the vehicle. Braking is different also if you are going different speeds. It is much harder to stop abruptly going 50 than 90. When you are speeding not only do you kill the chances of you being alright in an accident but you kill the chances of other innocent people being ok if anything happens.
This can help the person to feel valued and not set apart from others, this in turn will reduce any discrimination. Inclusion goes hand in hand with equality, this gives the individual the control and support in their own choices and needs. 2.1-2.3 The legislation and codes of practice that relate to my role as a support
This rule is just a hope (possibility) that someday each person will treat everyone else with kindness and will receive kindness from others. Ultimately, the core idea of The Golden Rule is just about dealing (treating) people with owns perspective. But in practice, people are not alike. They have personality differences. As a result, this rule is not well enough to be implemented in our personal life as well as professional life.
The back door of the police car sprang wide. "Get in." ” If Leonard was more productive and could think of something better, he wouldn’t be in this situation. He might perhaps “protest”, ignore the car, and run away, since people don’t have to conform to everything, and if the laws don’t make sense, you can “protest” against the law and you do not have to conform to the law. The message behind this part of the story is to be original if your originality can lead to right decisions, rather to conforming to other people.
Accidents from Distractions and Safe Driving Argosy University Abstract As you are driving down a road you see a car turn a corner recklessly, or a car come to an abrupt stop because they did not have time to come to a slow stop. Everyday people are easily distracted and are careless when it comes to driving, which in the end, usually results in an accident. More than half of the accidents that happen in a year can be prevented if people would focus more on safe driving and avoid all types of distractions, such as; phones, music players, satellite devices and speed radars. There are many things that distract people from driving safely and we all know of ways to prevent accidents but it is up to the person driving to make that choice, right?.
I may also be tempted to exempt myself and others from the rules convinced that the rules were meant for others or that the actions I am taking really are fair for everyone. My ambitions may overpower my sense of justice. When this happens, I may overlook abuse of power by those in my own social groups. My blind spot is that I put too much faith in a process that results in a fair outcome for all. I tend to believe that ethical decisions are produced by the application of a fair system despite the fact that equal access for all isn’t always attainable resulting in unfair treatment.
By being forced to wear school uniforms, teens are unable to express their individuality and a students' right of self-expression is deprived. Uniforms will not stop the many cliques that schools, and society alone, have. People have cliques because they have the same interests as each other, they can relate with each other, and get along with one another, etc., not because they shop at the same stores and have a certain look. Individuality is what makes going to school interesting. There are other ways to be an individual and express yourself besides your clothing, but it does play a big role in showing others what you are like and finding out who you want to be.
