Nowadays, using animals in scientific researches becomes more and more popular. There are different opinions, for and against, relating this controversial issue. Some people agree with this method, others try to save animals' lives. This persuasive essay tries to give some arguments to prove that we can not avoid this method in scientific researches. In my opinion I am in-between whether I am for or against…the pros for animal testing are finding drugs and treatments to improve health and medicine. There are already some lifesaving medical breakthroughs that are the result of animal testing, like open heart surgery, organ transplants, effective insulin, vaccines for deadly diseases …animal testing is the most accurate way to learn the effects of substances in a living body, ensuring the safety of drugs and other substances, and human harm is reduced and human lives are saved. The cost paid for animal testing are things such as the housing of the animals, feeding, carrying, treatments, controlling the environment, is very expensive. Animals used for testing are usually obtained from specific breeding facilities and come with a high price tag. Animals have the right to live their own life; and we are not allowed to meddle with them just because we can. Morality it is not worth euthanizing animals for the benefit of mankind. The animals are mostly euthanized after research or others are wounded and live their life in captivity Sometimes testing will put and animal in an uncomfortable situation and other times they will endure a bit of pain but it can save human lives. Let us take the medicine as an example. When doctors learn about a new kind of viruses, they usually make tests to find out how the virus affects the animals; Mice are used in most of cases. Doctors then have different experiments to cure animals. The final result is new kind of medicines,
