Nowadays, horrifying crimes are being committed by criminals and they are being punished for it. It has been believed that behind every crime there is a reason, which usually gets neglected. In the world of justice, reasons doesn’t matter, only thing that matters is whoever did the crime has to be punished and everyone should get justice. From the articles “How people turn monstrous” by Mark Buchanan and “Revisiting the Stanford prison experiment” by Philip G. Zimbardo, which means human behavior is forceful. The good people always get forced inherently into the bad situation.
Many criminals are going to jail but the Pohnpei state jail is very small but today more are going in but less coming out. They must have this kind of punishment because they are wasting government money because commit treason, do not pay taxes but just sit on their asses eating free meal. If the prisoners are not to be killed they will gain number and escape wihich could be dangerous for every single Pohnpeian. The third reason Pohnpei state need to have death penalty is to make the citizens stop crimes. Pohnpei are type of people who are afraid of death if they will hear a prisoner is going to be killed because he or she commits crime.
He is very experienced in criminal law and is against mandatory sentencing. This journal presents information that the mandatory sentencing policy in the U.S. is a failure. It argues that Legislators thought that they could “get tough on crime,” especially drug crime. I feel this source gives educated reasons as to why drug policy needs to be changed. It also backs up my other sources with the same research results; by removing the sentencing discretion of judges, and replacing it with mandatory jail sentences, we are sending more offenders to prison instead of programs designed to rehabilitate.
Troy Unger 6 Oct. 2010 Capital Punishment Prisons in the United States have some major flaws. The prison system is not adequate in keeping the crime rate low. The United States prisons system needs a drastic overhaul very soon; it needs to revert back in time and stop giving prisoners modern conveniences. The prison system also needs to hand out harsher punishment to inmates and other felons alike. Capital punishment should be a tool used on many serious felons instead of life in jail.

If you commit a terrible crime such as being a sexual predator/child molester or something of that nature the shame will be with you the rest of your life and it’s going to be hard overlooking it because of the laws we have placed. In jail the inmates will even look down on you and treat you like scum they will even threaten your life. The shame for somebody doesn’t stop after the crime has been forgotten about or once they are out of jail. They have to register themselves as a sexual offender you can’t just move and try to leave it behind you.
