DATE: 22nd March DESCRIPTION-The fifth day of placement was my first coaching session with disabled children at Dove House in Basingstoke. EVALUATION- As I’ve already worked with disabled children in one of my previous jobs I felt as prepared as I could be. As I felt prepared I felt confident when I was there and was able to give out clear instructions. CONCLUSION- The day went really well, I enjoyed myself and so did the children that I was coaching. I found it difficult one of the children missed behaved and I find it hard to discipline, didn’t really know if I had the authority to discipline. ACTION PLAN- Improve my team work as I should of asked for help when I needed instead I had a more stressfull time than I should have had DATE: 26th March DESCRIPTION- Had a meeting in the morning discussing how we can get more people encouraged to sign up for the holiday course in the summer.
