Throughout time, children had always found ways to exploring the world. Toys are one of those tools that permits it. When children play with toys, they are trying to make sense of the different functions and aspects of the toy, what rules operate within the grasp of their hands. A good toy is the one that is secure, entertaining but also instructive, so that children have fun while learning. Rubik’s cube once known as the magic cube is a 3-D combination puzzle invented in 1974 by Erno Rubik. This cube consists of six faces covered by nine stickers each of six colors: Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow and White. In order for the puzzle to be solved, each face has to be pivoted so that we obtain one solid color surface on each of the six faces. When creating this toy, Rubik’s aim was to help his students comprehend the complexity of space and the different movements in a 3 dimensional world. There is a large capacity of mental and emotional advantages related to Rubik’s cube.
