James Haveron In the world people are attracted by looks, smells and body language. Someone would be wearing a low shirt with her bra showing and no matter how ugly she is she will catch a mans attention and maby a good night. But to the point is that all of these things can lead to the ultimate pleasure that every man and woman seach for form the age of like 12. This ultimate pleasure is scary some try to avoid it other embrace it, it can cause life or death but in the end it will always result in happiness. In the movie hitch this concept was crated and destroyed but the ones in search for it fought for it.
She believes she has truly found love in this asylum and to her it feels pretty good. Towards the end of the text Lewis kisses her out of the safety of Julie. She blushed she was surprised she loved it. She is mad of course she is, she is in an asylum but the message Nowra is trying to put across is that everyone is mad when it comes to love. Cherry seems to become more nutty when she falls for Lewis.

Friar also trusted Juliet, an unstable teenager, with a near-death poison. This rash decision was very poor on Friar’s behalf. This idea was very risky, and because of it, everyone thinks Juliet is dead and she is buried alive. Had Friar not given Juliet the poison, she would never have been put in this position which leads to Romeo’s death and later Juliet’s. Lord & Lady Capulet are also involved with Romeo & Juliet’s death.
Even though Ismene didn’t help out with the crime she still wanted to risk her life for Antigone, but she wouldn’t let her because she didn’t do the work. Antigone wants to die for the right reason, that she did something right for someone else. But since Ismene didn’t do any of the crime she didn’t want her to die because she did something wrong. Antigone wanted Ismene to live and she descried to live she didn’t do anything wrong. I think Ismene changed her mid because Antigone is her sister and you always stand up for family.
Maybe he is going to profess his love in front of all the workers at the Centre, and then Lenina will be really happy, but also embarrassed because an “uncivilized” person likes her. Dialectical Journal #39 “…afraid that she might be suffering from one of the few remaining infectious diseases.” This shows that there are still flaws in the system. Diseases can spread. In our world diseases can change rapidly, perhaps a disease wipes out the entire population except for a select few people., and the government collapse, and they can start anew. This also suggests that because there are flaws in the system, the rumor about Bernard could be true.
The attitude in Atwood’s Siren Song by Margret Atwood is captured by an image of the sirens described as “picturesque and mythical.” Atwood draws her readers in by having the sirens use their sex appeal to lure in men and force them to “leap overboard in squadrons.” She then goes on and gives the readers the assumption that the sirens are bored with their beauty, and are almost sickened with the same routine and outcome. “Shall I tell you the secret, and if I do will you get me out of this bird suit?” that implies that the sirens are bored. We see that the song is “irresistible and anyone who has heard it is dead or can’t remember it.” This makes us as readers more interested. The sirens trick men with their beautiful song, and lure them into their deadly
Artemis has him locked away only to please her every need. If he even looks at another with lust she will abuse him in terrifying ways. While she seems to be sincerely sweet sometimes, things with Artemis never really run easily when it comes to her. She goes from hot to cold within seconds, and can take her healing hand and rip Acheron’s heart and body to pieces with a single thought. She feels as though she has ownership of him simply because he chose to give his love to her in the beginning of their relationship.
Stella is willing to look past everything Stanley does because she loves him and that makes her the fool of the play. After finding out Stanley raped her sister she still chooses Stanley though she asks herself “what have I done to my sister?” Stella is so stuck on her life as it is that she’s not willing to accept that Stanley is not the man she once deceived herself he was and that internal conflict is what makes her a huge
Holden once again notices Sunny’s humane nature when she says, “ like fun you are”, instead of saying a more bitter response (Salinger pg.94).
