The family was walking their way back home until things took a sudden brutal turn. A cone in one hand and teddy bear in other, she witnessed the entire tragic incident, from her mother being stabbed to death to her father get shot and bleeding unconscious. Although three was an age way too young to remember, and even to this day she would often have nightmares, horrifyingly waking her up from deep sleep, they were too hazy or imperceptible to remember the faces, unfortunately even of her parents.

She suffers from smoking heath related problems and came to me because she wishes to stop smoking. The titles of the books that Liesel steals all deal with something that is related to her life or something related to the situation she’s in, which make them very significant. Stealing books from the mayor's house leads to a friendship with the mayor's wife. Every time Leisel stole a book, Ilsa Hermann knew about it. The library was really Ilsa’s not the mayor’s. Ilsa was the one who convinced Liesel to write a book in the journal she gave

Every once in awhile a hurricane will strike North Carolina and mostly when a hurricane comes people get scared and lock themselves inside their homes until it is safe again. I was in the same boat, but I knew this was going to be one hurricane that I would never forget. I was about five years old and the younger of my two sisters. The three of us together were hard to handle. My mom worked for the local hospital and got stuck at work the night Hurricane Bonnie decided to knock at our door.

Judge Stevens says to one of the townspeople, “’will you accuse a lady to her face of smelling bad?’” (545), which provides the reader with even more sympathy than before. At this point in the story, Miss Emily just seems like a poor old woman with nobody left to love. As we read on, Faulkner provides more details about Miss Emily, which might suggest her slight insanity. For the first three days after her father’s death, Miss Emily acted as if her father was still alive, keeping the dead body with her until the townspeople threatened to resort to law and force to bury the body. At one point, Miss Emily goes to the druggist to buy arsenic.
DewayneQuochytewa Sept. 10,2014 Eng. 102 J.Witt The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman Why was John’s wife not allowed to write and leave the room? John was a physician who took care of his wife that was diagnosed as having temporary nervous depression. But if she was john’s wife why was she locked in a room that was described as a small room with yellow wall paper that had a bad smell to it and with bars on the window. I had to read this twice, was a confusing story. Maybe she was mentally ill and could not take care of herself.
