There are considerations for preventing prostate cancer. They are: age, race, family history, and where you live. There is a board list of categories of side effects associated with prostate cancer that includes: Urinary dysfunctions, Bowl dysfunctions, erectile dysfunctions, Loss of fertility, side effects of hormone therapy, and all so side effects from chemotherapy. In the treatment of prostate cancer there is no one size fits all treatment. What you should know as much as possible and in conjunction with your physician. There are several treatment options: Active surveillance, of having a prostatectomy surgery, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, and chemotherapy, and other treatment options, and emerging therapies. It is all ways good to know the symptoms of a disease so that you can catch it with early detection this may be helpful, you well know this before it get worse. The symptoms are: need to urinate frequently, and at night. Also difficult in starting urination and holding it back. The flow of urine maybe painful or burning during urinations. A week flow of urination or an interrupted flow when urinating. You may have difficulty in having an erection, or a painful erection could occur.
