Privacy in the 21st Century; Is It Possible? Even though in the 21st century, there is strong expectation for privacy; however people's privacy is being invades on a regular basic. Human have been facing privacy issue or the lack thereof it since ancient Rome. "Stated in an article Privacy Issue in the 21st Century by Berman, Jerry and Bruening, Paula", in this research paper I plan to share with you what I have learned after doing my research. When something is private to a person it is usually information about them that they don't want to share with the world. Privacy in the 21st Century is a major concern due to the rapid growth of technology, threats privacy to multiply, and raised new law legal and ethical. There for we need to be careful about what information we share with the public because of the lack of privacy. Technology has grown by leaps and bounds since we have entered the 21st Century. Privacy has brought much change and there are many things that we need to be aware of. The promise of technological tool for privacy is a law in progress which privacy has been enhanced in the last century. With so many social and media communication outlets, does privacy actually exist in the 21st century? As American in the 21st century living amidst Facebook, Twitter, internet technology, satellite surveillance,GPS tracking and chip, the lack of privacy regarding the ability to provide acceptable and appropriate protection to individual identity and personal information have risen. There are many different types of device that are used in the 21st Century that allows us to share our person information. As threats to privacy multiply, defending our right to be left alone becomes challenging. As we go about our everyday lives, we leave behind a permanent trail of personal information.
