Crystal Morales Professor Weimer English 101 April 7, 2014 Every summer I go on adventures with my family and friends to have a fun time. Six Flags is my favorite place to go, because it’s filled with fun and excitement. I get the season pass every summer to go when I want and as many times I want. It’s a theme park Containing anything from sweet treats to fun rides. Six flags provides many activities for all ages.
I knew it was going to be a hot day because at eight in the morning it was already unbearable to sit in the car. I was going to Detroit to watch my first Tigers game, and it was a day I would never forget. When I was five years old my family moved from a house in the city, to a house in the country with a big yard. The front yard is a little bigger than a football field and is perfect for kids playing sports. I also have four brothers and two
Between the people screaming and the sound of the rollercoaster, I don’t know which one was the loudest. At least they had music playing. As we were heading to the first rollercoaster, they had offered us to take a picture with a posing dog. So we all took a picture with it. The first ride we got to was the Loch Ness Monster.
The dedication put into the construction of the street car is impressive. Several lives were lost due to landslides, and even after suffering these casualties, the building continued. But the street cars and the lake were just the beginning of what became the most popular park in the area. Every year, amusements improved and more people were attracted. The addition of summer cabins, an outdoor theatre, miniature golf course, picnic grove, a roller coaster, bumper cars, pavilions, a petting zoo, baseball park, and a swimming pool made the park more appealing and exciting than ever.
It was just like seeing Santa on his sleigh in a Christmas parade. Obviously they weren’t the real Three Kings, but as a kid I believed they were. After the festival was over, my family and I went back to my grandmother’s house and had our family party. It just so happened it was my grandmother’s responsibility to throw the family party that year, which is why we flew down. At the family party, there was great food and drinks, and we even had a band come play traditional music.

The summer before my junior year I experienced the best week of my life. Deep in the beautiful mountains of Colorado about 12 hours away is a place called Frontier Ranch, a Young Life camp. The excitement and overwhelming happiness before getting on the bus for the long ride is what keeps us all sane. As I say goodbye to my parents and friends staying home, the only thing I can think about is having the opportunity to get away for a week: without a phone, computer, or television and growing in my relationships not only with my friends but with Jesus as well. After the long 12 hour drive I can feel the suspense and and thrill all around me.
Paige Threadgill September 28,2012 Autobiographical Incident Six Flags Magic Mountain When I first got into the yellow school bus, I was terrified. Why? It’s because I didn’t know if I should be scared or not. You see, I’ve never been on a roller coaster, well, only one time when I went to the fair in Paso Robles, but that didn’t count for me. When the bus moved, I was saying to my youth pastor that this was my first time going to Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA!
My sister was working, which meant it was only my niece and I alone at the house. A note was left on the counter that read ‘you guys need to do laundry and wash the dishes if you think you’re going anywhere tonight. Also, if you take the car, put gas in it. Love, Cinda.’ With that being said, we did some chores so that we could go out for the day, like we planned. We decided to make a huge breakfast and dance around the house with the music blasting, having a great time.
It was wonderful all the children were steering at us while we attended the race track with Mr. Alston; their parents were amazed at the singer spending time at the race track with kids in public. Another unforgettable memory is attending Disney World for the first time I
