Running head: DIAGNOSTIC ESSAY Nyree Reid English Composition 1 (GSC1244B) Professor: Christopher Brown November 6, 2012 My favorite topic of discussion is a favorite location that was memorable. I traveled to Florida for several years to visit family members. As a child I enjoyed the atmosphere I viewed in Florida getting off the airplane. My family decided to move to Florida when I was twelve years old. As a child I visited Florida every holiday and a year later my mother decided to move to Florida. My first time visiting Florida was so memorable we would visit family members and eat at different restaurants. A favorite place for me when I visited Florida was the getting my hair braided at the shop and going to the race track. I remember when we visited the race track Mr. Gerald Alston a famous singer treated me and my cousin our favorite place we enjoyed riding the race cars, playing games at the arcades. It was wonderful all the children were steering at us while we attended the race track with Mr. Alston; their parents were amazed at the singer spending time at the race track with kids in public. This beach you could see when driving over the bridge to get home. My cousin always enjoyed when my aunt would cook my favorite foods chicken Florentine it smelled so good and tasted rich of seasonings, cheese. Florida smells very mild and the air is unpolluted I would not get sick as much as when I lived in New Jersey so I wanted to stay there but I missed my family so we moved back home when I turned thirteen years old. Inclusion my experience living in Florida was terrific and unforgettable in the near future I plan to revisit Florida because I truly enjoyed the different childhood experiences.
