Supreme Adventure One early morning, my brother, Perseus, and I were asked by our father, Zeus to go and retrieve his lightning bolts from the shop. Before making our way there, I grabbed my Supreme shovel, known for disintegrating people with one small touch. I had to grab it because recently in Mt. Olympus there was a lot of crime and killings going on between many demigods. After the sun being up for a short time, Perseus and I set out on this big adventure.
This driving test I would spend was the time when I felt that there was nothing in my mind, but fear and anxiety. At seven o'clock, I was present at DMV. I realized that I came an hour earlier than my driving teacher did. After one long stressful hour, my driving teacher arrived with his bored and unhappy face, and said: " OK, we still have forty five minutes before the test, get in the car, I will show you all the streets that you might drive in the driving test.". "Remember, Ms. Ngan, you must not drive over 40mph on this street, you must turn on the signal,…".
Soon, almost everyone knew except the teacher. Even though many people looked, I held my values and didn’t look even though I knew it was there. I ended up getting full score without cheating. But, one time I poorly demonstrated the positive side of the trait was when I was 12. I told my mom that I would go to sleep at ten o’clock, but I took my iPod to bed and stayed up until one in the morning.
Patrick got mad and refused, so she decided to question me instead. During the questioning, I lost myself and became Daniel. I passed more than half of the questions, but I proved I was Daniel with the birthmark that was over his left thumb. It wasn’t real, I tattooed it on using a needle and a brown marker the night before I told Alicia I was Daniel Tate. The detective said I’m good to
In February 2006, Emily Jerry, a two-year old child was at a Cleveland hospital to complete her last series of chemotherapy treatment. Her doctor ordered intravenous chemotherapy solution that was filled incorrectly by a pharmacy technician. The prescription called for 1% saline; however, a lethal amount of 23% saline was given instead, causing her to slip into a coma resulting in death. Eric Cropp, who was the supervising pharmacist signed off on the technician’s work despite her informing him that the mixture did not look right; nonetheless, he approved it. The pharmacy was so busy that day and short staffed, which led to a preventable fatal error that changed Eric’s whole life in a matter of seconds.

What a sissy!” After I few minutes I got my foot unstuck and one of the playground people who were in charged ask if I was ok and if I was hurt but I told them no. They helped me up and they asked me do you need help to go to the nurse’s office; I told them no I could get there. I told my friends that I have to go to the nurse’s office to get this checked out and told them that I could not play no more today. Daniel said ok and after that, they began playing
In the novel Frankenstein, about an adventure of a mad scientists experiment that creates a monster who spirals down a destructive and negative future, Mary Shelley constantly uses “ice” and “fire” to describe emotional feeling and physical aspects. Throughout the story “Fire” and “Ice” represent life and hope of life; at the same time these words are also depicted to show the harsh realities of life and death. The word “fire” is often used to describe life and rejoice of a near death experiences. It took everything in Frankenstein to create this monster. After putting everything together he was very proud of himself and absolutely admired the monster’s features because he specifically hand picked the best of the best corpse as he describes, “His yellow skin scarcely covered the work of muscles and arteries beneath; his hair was of a lustrous black, and flowing; his teeth of a pearly whiteness….” (42).
How Beer Saved My Life L. Ben Crenshaw How Beer Saved My Life When I was diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer late December, of 2011 I had just started a new job. I remember receiving the news following a colonoscopy procedure from a couple of days earlier. I was too restless to wait and visit my doctor for the results, so I called during lunch break. That morning in the office was scheduled with training classes, yet I was in no mood to learn. When I spoke to my doctor over the phone, he was surprised I called.
9/11/13 Khaled Khamis Ms. Pearce English- ENG4U Personal Narrative As I came to my senses, I saw a white light above me. It became apparent to me that I was in a hospital bed, for what reason I couldn’t really remember. The last thing I remember was standing at the top of the stairs at my uncle’s house. As I was coming to I heard a familiar Voice in the background; it was my Mom, she had been speaking to the nurse about lunch. I tried to say something, but nothing came out.
