Personal Responsibility Essay Gen. 200 Farris Brown III To me personal responsibility is accepting the actions that I take in which it may have good or bad consequences. One of my biggest responsibility that I have now is my education. School is very important to me and when I joined the United States Army I've never even attempted to enroll in school or continue my education at all. Before I joined the Army personal responsibility was something I never did. While not having personal responsibility I was constantly struggling with work and school at the time. Also with partying and spending money constantly and living from paycheck to paycheck. Once I joined the Army they taught me how to be responsible as far as being on time and in the proper uniform, but as far as financially I was still partying and spending money on a daily basis.
