Myop is also feeling ‘light and good in the sun’ which means it’s summer time. We are on a sharecropper farm. The story only spans over a couple of hours and she starts at home at their rusty sharecropper house, then she walks into the woods where the story ends. The sharecropper she and her family lives in is rusty which indicates that the family is poor. The story describes the nature a lot, for example ‘around the spring, where the family got drinking water, silver ferns and wildflowers grew’ When she wanders into the woods, the descriptions get more unpleasant.
The Horrors of a Slave ship Nigerian kidnappers were the cause of many children missing as their parents left them home alone during the day to work in the fields. Kidnappers often took advantage of this time to take kids against their will and sell them to slave traders, thus becoming a slave at a very young age. Occasionally they would be caught in the act and dealt with however the grownups chose to do but not in Olaudah’s case. One day Olaudah Equiano, merely 11 years old, was left home alone with his younger sister while his parents were off at work and a group of people broke into their home with means of kidnapping them. The kidnappers succeeded in their plans and ran off into the woods with Olaudah and his sister leaving no trace for their parents to find them.

But her mother warned her not to stray and go straight to her grandmothers because the village lay next to the dark woods where the wicked and mysterious lived. Those who dared to warder alone into the deep parts of the woods where never seen again, but since Crimson’s father and older brothers were woodcutters by trade, like many of men the village, they traveled into the woods on a daily bases without being threaten. Crimsons mother then told her to carry the folding knife her father gave to her for protection.
Born in the French countryside, in the small town of Saumur on August 19, 1883, Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel was orphaned of mother (who was a seamstress) to thirteen years old. His father, Albert Chanel, sent her to a boarding of the French city of Auvergne, where he remained until the end of adolescence. However, the simple life of the country town did not match the eagerness of Coco Chanel. Worked as a clerk in a fabric store (where you learn the profession of seamstress and wield the needle to perfection) and even a cabaret called Cafe de la Rotonde Beuglant, where he sang the song "Qui qu'a vu Coco dans le Trocadero?" (responsible for the origin of his nickname Coco).
There are very specific details that show how miserable her life is. For example, "Besides, the invariable squabble for money on Saturday nights had begun to weary her unspeakably” (Paragraph 5, line 11). Her father would never give her money so she always gave all of her money and Harry sent what he could as well just to help. Her father said she used to squander the money and that he wasn’t going to give her his hard-earned money to throw about the streets. In the end, he would give her the money because he wanted Sunday’s dinner.
I know that I could let my 10 year old daughter walk to school by herself, but with shooting all the time I walk her to school. Sometimes, I get scared just sitting in my house doing nothing. It’s crazy to know that you are not even safe in your own home. The gangs are taking over society and holding us hostage in our homes. I don’t let my kids play outside, because of the violence.
She loves the boy who was four years ago and not the man who is now standing in front of her. His son tricked a girl into getting into his car where he raped her and now he is back to spill salt in her kitchen as he did after he ate his breakfast. Because she doesn’t want to look into his face, she pretends that she is sick then she goes to her room. There are many unanswered question in Myrna’s mind, and she couldn’t stay at her home anymore and be her mother so she leave with a note for Kenny that it means he should go away within a week. In my point of view Myrna made a good decision in this situation for two reasons, first it is a good punishment for Kenny as she dose’s want to be her mother any more.
