The fee’s for room and board along with gas no longer apply to online classes. Online schooling and traditional education both help acquire a degree just in two separate ways of doing so. If one is considering attending college they have the option of attending online or traditional education. Online courses seem to work better for students that work a full time job or have a hectic life schedule. The same accredited degree is offered online just like it would be available for traditional classrooms.
Students who attend community college can simply live at home and not have to fear the extra expenses. If a student does decide they want a four year degree, starting off at a community college and then transferring to a university is much cheaper than entering a university right out of high school. It is much easier to get into a community college right after high school versus having to wait to be accepted by a university. There are also many things universities look at that community colleges do not, such as standardized test scores, class rank, and academic GPA. Community college is also more convenient than a university.
Jose D Centeno Week 6 8/24/12 Composition I – 102 Compare and contrast online learning with classroom (on-ground) learning What are the difference and the comparison between online classes and on ground classes? Each one has the same features. Like for example you can take a class of your choosing and decide rather you would want online or you would like to take it on ground campus, either way you get basically the same education and also the subject one what you learning from. The difference is that you may not understand what the teacher or instructor would want you to do correctly to look over. Like on campus you have the instructor right there in front of you if you have questions to help, basically face to face, hands on work.
Relying solely on online classes for education would add more work, as opposed attending class on-campus, make students and teachers feel isolated and there would be no need of any extended amount of motivation. Firstly, online courses are not for everyone. Some students who are in certain programs would need to be in a physical classroom to learn. Some of these programs would include: any tech class (construction and manufacturing), cooking and nursing. Students in these programs would require hands-on work to gain the appropriate knowledge in that program.
Ability to reteach material to students until they understand it. Hold a Bachelors in early childhood education and create a warm and loving atmosphere for students. Learning online is different than learning in other context because when it comes to online learning it is flexible and convenient you can attend classes (collaborate sessions) from the your own home whiles being comfortable and complete your essays or assignments at any part of the day. Online studies are great for students who have family commitments or busy work schedules but still want to achieve a degree of some sort. However there are a few cons to studying education online including limited direct contact with fellow students and teachers also there is fewer opportunities for extracurricular activities or to join campus
With the research I have gathered it is my belief that online courses provide the same quality of education as campus courses do. This new age approach to obtain a higher education allows students to be just as successful as students who receive their education in traditional campus courses. Online courses have made it more convenient for many people in different stages of life to get a better education. The materials you learn in a traditional campus course are the same materials you will learn in an online course. Having the option of attending college online makes it possible for anyone to receive a quality education.
Unlike with traditional classes where you can meet people and form study groups for the class. Also when doing group projects it is a lot easier to be able to meet and work with them without having to worry if your group members will log into class and participate. Online classes can save you money because you do not need to buy school supplies. You only need is a laptop. In traditional classes you need books, traditional supplies, and any additional supplies the class requests.
I feel that going to school online is a better way of learning for me, because I can focus on one subject at a time and not having to rush through my work and not learn. I feel that people have different ways of learning and some people cannot get away from home because of kids and work and then again some people can go to college which can be fun for them. I feel it all depends on how you learn and what you can do. 3. Why am I interested in exploring this idea?
Students have to consider the pros and cons of each and decide which school setting is best for them. Whether pursuing an online or traditional education, students can be sure they are receiving the same education. Online schooling is when a student sits in front of a computer and is taught through internet interaction. The interaction is made through an online thread where students can ask questions to the professor and have conversations with other students. There are also some online schools that have lectures given by the Professors through live videos.
B. The student, who does is more technically savvy would excel in an online environment. C. A student, who does not need interaction with others; face to face would appeal more to an online class. A. The dependent learner, who needs interaction with people, would want to consider taking the traditional route.
