In the video, the dance looked like it was very easy to execute but having already been in the technique class all year, it is amazing to know that doing the movements correctly is actually difficult. May O’Donnell constructs her pieces with the use of spacial structure. She organizes her dancers so that different groups are spread out differently throughout the stage and at times she uses all dancers in one singular spacial structure, like a diagonal. She changes the organization on stage frequently so that the audience would be constantly captivated by the rapid action on stage. She also uses many other choreographic tools to keep the attention of the audience and bring contrast to her piece.
At first when he signed on to do The King and I he was under the impression that “he only had to do (that) one ballet” (Jerome Robbins: His Life, His Theatre, His Dance, pg 46) but he did end up choreographing many other dance sequences like “Getting to Know You” or “The March of the Siamese Children”. “Robbins planned the scene to delight both Anna and the audience. Some carry out their duties in exemplary fashion, which highlighted the different ones and the tiniest provide a high degree of adorable and some concern they’ll screw up” (Jerome Robbins: His Life, His Theatre, His Dance, pg
Suggestions for Improvement – Variables that might have influenced the outcome of my experiment were how fast or vigorous a person was dancing compared to another, someone’s motivation to squeeze the clothes pin more than others, and the amount of time each person rested before squeezing clothes pins for the first time. Suggestions for Further Research – My suggestions for other investigations that could be done to further support my findings or to answer any new questions that came up during this experiment are to warily time the amount of time the tested students were resting before squeezing the clothes pins and to have all ten students dance in the same way and pace as everyone else to have more control in this
It added emphasis to the music; it was used as reinforcement. There were parts where the female dancers would take the stage. They did very pretty formations. The music stopped for couple of 8 counts and during this time the dancers were still dancing, but all you would be able to hear was the sounds of the rattles on their legs. It made the music to which they were dancing, the music sounded so peaceful but at the same time it really went with the music that had been playing.

Stephen “Stevie” Ray Vaughn was born on October 3, 1954 in Dallas, Texas. His parents were Martha and Jimmie “Big Jim” Vaughn. It was because of them that Stevie and his brother Jimmie got into music. Martha and Big Jim loved to dance to Western swing music and were friends with a band in Texas called The Texas Playboys, who would bring alcoholic drinks and play dominoes with Big Jim. It is believed that when this band would bring over these drinks young Stevie would sneak sips and that’s where his addiction to alcohol began.
She believed her physical movements and physical expressions gave her spiritual and emotional looks that were different from most other dances. She danced for much of her life and she choreographed for basically her whole entire life. According to Gladwell, she would be considered an outlier since she most likely had over 10,000 hours of dancing and choreography, so she is an expert at it. Also, she had her fathers legacy of using physical movement within her dances

Vickie Sears’ did a great job on explaining the Native American Elements throughout the story while explaining how Clarissa overcame her label. Clarissa started off as an unstable child, but now through her Native American culture she made a huge turn around and became a great dancer just like Molly Graybull. Clarissa learned dancing through experience, listening, observing and doing. Oral traditions were very important to Clarissa so she attended the women’s traditional. Last but not least Clarissa maintained her traditions, native language and culture by practicing dance and expressing that she was
and Maya Angelou. People like Bethany Hamilton and Jenifer Ringer who just epitomized strength and passion for what they love are motivating to read about. Getting to take a look inside of their lives and almost seep into their mindsets is an experience that a lot of people would appreciate. Jenifer Ringer was a dancer who struggled with ridicule that she was not skinny enough to be a dancer, and then she struggled with multiple eating disorders. Throughout all of this Jenifer kept dancing because it was how she conveyed her messages that she could not put into words, but her body could transmit.
