At only age twelve he was sent off to Washington Collage Academy. At collage he studied English, Latin, geography, composition, and declamation. He was a very good student but had to be sent home at the age of fourteen. His father, David Vance, had passed away. So he had been sent home to help his family.
Before meeting his wife Mr. Cruz lived in several different areas as a youth from Puerto Rico and to where he graduate high school in 1981 from Ft Worth High, Indiana. For the past ten years Mr. Cruz has been working at Goodwill who provides service to Great Lakes Naval Station in North Chicago, IL. Orlando Cruz is a contract machine mechanic, whose primary job is to work on machine (mixers, ovens, stove, etc. ).
I have been serving my country for 17 years. I have a 13 year old daughter, a 10 year old daughter, and another daughter due in February. Three strikes and i'm out. LOL. I feel I want to become a College Professor upon graduation from Argosy.
As a combination worship and fellowship space, worship services are shared on Sunday mornings and meals are served on Wednesday nights. Years since have seen the construction of an additional building in 2009 to be used for varied education ministries. But the history of buildings and growth is simply a reflection of the church’s ministries. The property and the buildings are tools to assist the congregation in following and growing Christ. Because of the tools of meeting space, ministries of the church and other Christian fellowships can occur throughout the week.
He graduated in the top ten percentile of his class, and with a 4.0 GPA. Jamel’s dream every since he was a young child was to play college football. His dream became reality after Jamel graduated from high school. Jamel was awarded a full four year scholarship to Harvard University. At Harvard University Jamel practiced in the Medical field, due to the fact that he wanted to become a pediatrician.
I also joined Marching Band. I did Marching Band my full 4 years of High School playing the Bass Drum. My dream was to go into the Music Industry and be able to produce music for artists and then I realized my Sophomore Year that it was an extremely difficult field to get into. I had a “Plan B” which was my second favorite thing to do, nursing. My mother has been a nurse for about 7 years now.

I would live here for a few months while my father traveled the world in search for work - in order to provide the opportunities for his child. Opportunities that he had missed out on growing up in a small village in south India. My father was true believer of hard work and put himself through medical school.

Her father an immigrant from Trinidad was a newspaper columnist, a merchant seaman and the first black man to work for the New York City Subway as a motorman. She was raised in Harlem; Bath was motivated academically by her parents. Inspired by Albert Schweitzer, she applied for and won a National Science Foundation Scholarship while attending Charles Evans Hughes High School; this led her to a research project at Yeshiva University and Harlem Hospital Center on cancer that irritated her interest in medicine. I n 1960, still a teenager, Bath won the "Merit Award" of Mademoiselle Magazine for her contribution to the project.
