If you are an orphan ,imagine if you had been thrown out from your home at World War 2 in China ,what will your future might be? My favourite book is Chinese Cinderella and the Secret Dragon Society. When Chinese Cinderella is thrown out of her home by her cruel stepmother on to the dangerous street of Shanghai, she takes refuge with Grandma Wu in her Martial Art Academy. There she becomes part of the whole new family ,making friends with 3 remarkable boy acrobats and learning kung fu .One day the 4 children embark on a secret mission that changes their lives and the course of history forever! Chinese Cinderella is the main character in this story and also my favourite character. Maybe you my thought that this story has something do with the fairytale, but in the truth its completely different. Her Chinese name is Ye Xian but request Master Wu that could she have an English name. So she thought that the English equivalent of her Chinese name is Cinderella. Master Wu is Grandma Wu’s son, he is good in sports, he even won the best boxer in Canada and can run over 35 hurdles within 3 minutes! He is a big hero to me. I like one of the words that Grandma Wu used to say to the 4 children.”You are here to make a difference the future belongs to you”, it inspired me as if I am one of them, I am going to save China! Let me tell you something about the special Martial Art Academy. Its a society which they will teach you fighting techniques to protect your country .It is poor and unwanted children to go there. But before you want to be a member of this society, you must go through a magical process like the Chinese Cinderella’s. At first , she will give you to read a book called “yi jing” .Before you read, you need to clear your mind. Then ,she will explain everything in the book to you. I don’t really enjoy this part….its too boring ,but the next part is like a game
