LIFE EXPERIENCES As I have experienced many things in my life, I am now more prepared to go through my degree program because of my personal desire to be successful. I have the full support of my immediate family that matters most to me. Although I am just beginning on my journey to a degree with Ashford University, the staff has been very helpful and supportive in helping find the right program and get started on the right track. My previous school experience in the traditional setting, as well as, online has prepared me to continue my higher learning education
A piano was kept in the shop, and Ansel was allowed to practice there. Virginia's father, Harry Best, owned the shop. Virginia and Ansel shared many common interests such as nature and classical music. They became engaged and where married nearly seven years later on January 2nd, 1928. It was in Yosemite that Ansel's love of nature grew.

To Friends and Families and Colleagues and the rest of Alice’s beautiful family and to May and to Evelyn, we are here to grieve with you and more importantly we are here because we love you. Life sometime can be really hard to understand and the hard times that we have faced together as a family. Life cannot be defined but it will always be a memory to us and always will be kept in our heart. The moment when I recall my past memories, I get consumed by them as my great grandmother passed away and this would bring tears to my eyes over and over again but as time passed on I got stronger and faced this situation and this in turn made me a strong human being.
The house is pretty big it has lots of room and it has many different features. As you can see in the pretty the house is gorgeous. I really fell in love with the home once I saw it from the inside and it so beautiful from top to bottom in the inside. I believe that being from the same area in which I am now a teacher helps me to have empathy for my children and their families. I respect my families for being determined to set goals for themselves and make a better life for themselves and their children. The second area in which I feel I am strong is I have committed passion for the early childhood profession and demonstrate this in all aspects of my work with and on behalf of children, families, and the early childhood field. Being a lifelong learner is such a big goal that every educator should commit to. First, lifelong education is seen as building upon and affecting all existing educational providers, including both schools and institutions of higher education….Second, it extends beyond the formal education providers to encompass all agencies, groups and individuals involved in any kind of learning activity….Third, it tests on the belief that individuals are, or can become self-directing, and that they will see the value in engage in in lifelong education (Smith, 1996, 2001).

I am going to give a multi-generational diagram of my family background. The purpose for this genogram is to learn something about my family. I almost know everyone in my family, but the people that I really know are the ones that are closest to me. When I was 16 I moved in with my grandmother to help tak care of her. One thing I enjoyed most was stories about people in my family I didn’t know.
The traits I have chosen for my personal character are applicable to me because I have always looked upon the characteristics of a successful person and I believe my personal character possesses the traits. I am the oldest of my four siblings and it is necessary for me to be a role model and pave the path for each of them. My parents must depend on me to be responsible to look over them at times. I show my siblings my self-confidence so they can take that and overcome any challenges they might face and not to fear them. When they struggle on homework I’m there to navigate them through it until they are capable of doing it on their own.
These are just some of the things I am looking forward to do when I grow up. This is one dream I am going to strive for and work to get. This is why this scholarship is very important to me, because it may be the one thing that gets me to where I want to be and be a start to the dream I have been working for.
