As you and your brothers walk all around trying to get everything figured out your meeting new people mostly all of them famouse and are honored to hear that you and your brothers are actually there about to preform. Go up there and get your gold” I began to see a few tears in his eyes, but I did not say anything about it because I knew why he was crying. I just said. “Alright coach.” While walking up to stage to get my gold medals, I hear the crowd chanting “golden boy.” I always hear that ever since I started to run with my golden running shoes Nike made for me. Now that I am up here waiting to get my gold medals and hearing the crowd chant, my emotions become overwhelming.
I also made life-long friendships, and I am still meeting new people at our meetings that we have during the school year. The summer before my junior year of high school I attended my 10-day residential Junior Conference at Christian Brothers University. Entering the program I had mixed feelings because I was so excited to meet new people, but at the same time I was extremely nervous because I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
I smelt the popcorn and the newly polished floors I stood on. You could feel the fans anticipation and excitement weighing on your shoulders. After warm-up the captains assembled at center court and shook hands while me and the rest of the team waited on the bench for them to come back and hear Coach Balogh gives us his usual play hard and do what your capable and we will come out on top speech. Both teams broke their huddle and we came to the middle of the court for tip off. The crowd quieted when the ball was being tossed into the air but soon erupted when I won the tip off.
The school held an assembly to honor the students who won the spelling bee. The chorus sang the school song before the assembly started. Every day I woke up and rushed to school with the anticipation that my name would not be there.
Angie 2006 District Champions As the Sullivan High School gymnasium was filling up Friday night, the Sullivan Lady Eagles and Salem Lady Tigers were awaiting their chance to claim the title: Class 4 District 4 Basketball Champions 2006. Minutes before the game could even begin, the seats were filled and only standing room remained opened. People were standing and sitting around talking, and as both teams ran out onto the floor for warm ups, the gym went wild. People were jumping in the air, screaming, clapping their hands, holding up signs, and cheering on their teams. The jump ball went up and the game began.

The Family Day Event took place at 10 a.m. in the main gym. While everyone were siting and waiting patiently, we stood up to see the recruits marching in. We all were so happy and excited to see what these recruits were made of. There were five male platoons and two female platoons.
