His personality was just really entertaining. He could be calm, but as soon as he lost his temper, you shouldn’t cross him. He was extremely academically based. He was very worried about his grades and studies. The author’s vocabulary and diction was another thing I really liked.
Copland’s analytical review of how we listen to music is a very interesting one. I believe that his review is pretty accurate. I do agree with him regarding the three musical planes of music. If you take a look at this matter in its simplistic form, people listen to music for a number of reasons. I listen to music to enjoy the way it sounds.
I feel like I can relate to the different types of music. No matter what I’m feeling, music can speak my words for me. I know that I’m not the only one feeling a certain way. This method can be used in any situation. Music seems to also cheer me up.
This surprised me because I have always believed myself to be the creative and emotional type. I thought I needed a friend to enjoy my unusual activities with. I feel isolated from others and I am considerable lonely. I don’t think or feel as if I am misunderstood or unappreciated I mostly feel just left out. The basic communication principle I apply to my personal life experience is knowing my audience and communicating a little at a time.
I do agree with certain parts of the results such as being a helper and being sensitive or emotional. I do not believe that I am good at using my imagination and creativity. I find working in unstructured environments extremely stressful, and I enjoy expressing myself but I hardly ever feel the need to do so.
These people like to be organised and have tidy homes. They use terminology such as “ I see what you mean” and “looks good to me” Auditory ( Hearing) People with this modality enjoy listening to music. If background noise is not to there liking they can sometimes find it hard, if not impossible, to concentrate on there task at hand. They use terminology such as “ that sounds good to me” and “ I hear what your saying” These are the main modalities however there are two other modalities. Olfactory ( smell) they may use terminology like “that behaviour stinks”, and Gustatory (taste) they may use terminology like ”chew the fat”.
People encounter different situations in their lives; however, they do have one similarity. No matter what type of situation it is, it is necessary that we know what we are doing and that we make the right choice. In many cases, people tend to have fun at the moment and not consider the consequences, which often cause them to regret after realizing what they have done. This is quite common among people because there is this part in human minds called Id tat tends to seek for pleasure. However, there is also another part called Ego that works contrary to what the Id does.
Others are indifferent to making the world a better place. It is the caring and selfless people who deserve and receive the most admiration, the ones who are here to enjoy life and make others' lives better. These admirable people are also the memorable characters in the best novels. They have their share of challenges and sometimes falter. These fictional characters are dynamic because they are imperfect; they have their faults just like real people.
I say in a bit, that I am like the Box Man, because I like to work independently. I like to work for things instead of depending on others to help out. I don't like to depend on others. I don't like people to feel sympathy and feel pity towards me. I sometime have a feeling like a leader that has the courage and confidence to do anything that may seem difficult to accomplish.
Everyone loves to have a good friend—someone you can count on to laugh with, tell stories to, crack some jokes with. Not only is it nice to have such a person, but it is healthy. When you have a bad day and need to let off a little steam, it is great to do that with this person. If you allow too many things to build up inside and you are dying to tell someone it is not at all healthy. Maybe that includes being a bit of a “sin committer” as Orwell mentions, but these are friends that are invaluable.
