Motivation and Teams Case Study Motivation and Teams Case Study In Ms. Sheets case, The Two Men and a Truck, shows the expectancy theory of motivation, Maslow's needs hierarchy theory, the equity goal theory, and the job enrichment theory. Ms. Sheets motivation was to have money generator for her sons with a part time job, the need of generate income. The need of self employed to have control over her time making money; the expectancy theory of motivation. By looking ahead Ms. Sheets saw the opportunity to have her own business and eventually create a franchise; the equity theory of motivation. She believed in self efficacy, training her employees to give them more control to empower them, expanding their responsibilities; job enrichment theory of motivation. The Siemens case has the five theories of motivation: Maslow's needs hierarchy, job enrichment, expectancy, goal setting and equity goal. He was looking for recognition, was looking for actualization, security as well as a good pay; Maslow's needs hierarchy theory of motivation.
