Management planning evaluation Boeing Corporation The planning phase in any organization is an effective way for management to operate in an efficient manner. This stage is crucial for the management to set standards and to delegate the daily operations to employees and associates. Boeing has established itself worldwide and has relied on their management planning to dictate how the organizations are to be operated. In this paper, I will be evaluating, and analyzing the management planning within Boeing. Looking at the many functions of the management teams and management instilled within the Boeing Corporation. Analyze planning functions of management, influences that legal issues, ethics, and corporate social responsibilities have had on management planning within Boeing. Analyze factors that influence the contingency, operational, strategic, and tactical planning within Boeing Corporation. Boeing is a top aerospace and commercial airplane manufacturing company worldwide. It is responsible for military defense aircraft, working with the department of defense on contracts for supplying plans for the military. Boeing also develops communication technology equipment such as: satellites, defense technology systems, missiles, and other high end technology developed for the military. The planning strategy that Boeing implemented is credited for leading Boeing to becoming one of the country’s leading developers in aerospace technology. Boeing Corporation can be found in over 150 countries and employees upwards to 170,000 employees (Sophia Moon, 2010). Boeing’s success has been built around a matrix managing plan that works for all of its locations.
