Decision-Making Process Paper Christopher Michael Bunnell MGT 230 May 13, 2013 University of Phoenix Decision-Making Process Paper There are many major decisions I have made over my life, from enlisting into the Marine Corps to buying my current home. Each major decision I have made has used most of the six stages within the decision making process, which are diagnosing the problem, generating alternative solutions, evaluating alternatives, making the choice, implementing the decision and evaluating the decision (Bateman & Snell, 2011). For example, in summer of 2006 I decided it was time to not re-enlist within the Marine Corps and to move forward within the civilian sector. This was a huge decision to make and one I thought about for a few years before making it. When I began the decision making process, the problem I had diagnosed was I no longer wished to be away from my family for long extended periods of time.
2.0 points) ~Three long-term financial goals I have are to be able to pay for college, buy a house, and open a tattoo shop. Some steps I could take to achieve the goal of paying for college is to choose an in-state college to go and get as many scholarships I can to cover the costs of some other things. To buy a home I could ask for a loan from the bank and slowly pay of the debt over time. I could do the same thing for starting a tattoo shop. 4.

In order to obtain the goals I have set, I will have to determine the steps which are needed for each goal as well as any barriers that could alter achievement. For my short-term goal of buying a used car, it will require that I develop a savings plan and determine a time frame for what will be saved. My savings plan will include saving two hundred dollars every pay period to reach $1000 in ten weeks. After reaching the desired amount, I plan to search the Internet and newspaper ads for the right vehicle and take the time needed to search properly and not rush into buying something. However, it is also important to consider unexpected expenses that may arise resulting in prolonging the time frame that had been set.
Where would you start? How would you know when you were done? I would look at several sources, including vendor brochures, sales information, industry trade publications, and company websites. I would start online research to find this information. I would know when I was done when all thought of questions were answered with the information I obtained.
Market Research- Primary Research As part of my coursework I have to conduct a questionnaire and need to ask questions about my products and services that I offer. The reason why I am asking people to complete the questionnaire is because to know information of what customers want from my products and services.

Locavores Recently there has been a new dietary movement circulating through some cities in the United States of people that call themselves locavores. Locavores are people that decide to eat locally grown or produced products as much as possible. The locavore movement has many issues that must be considered before completely jumping in on the movement. Of these issues the most important are the issues of cost, convenience, and of economy. In order to commit to become a locavore you must decide that the pros to the system out way the cons or you must be able to live with the negative side just for the good of yourself.
I will be looking at all of the features to get an entire observation on the business communication used and the reasons why. There are multiple types of information that Tesco uses on of these is verbal information. Verbal information is face to face information used to communicate with people using verbal means, Tesco uses this to communicate with customers taking in likes and dislikes of the customer to see how they can improve their service. Another type of information that Tesco uses is on screen information this is information viewed through media and is useful as it allows customers to see new products being sold this form of information usually includes graphics, text, animation, audio and video. Graphics are important to an organisation such as Tesco as it allows comparison to other competitors such as Asda or Morrison’s to show which organisation is the superior.
