Learning Agenda Essay The Learning plan for me serves as a very critical blueprint on how I wish to approach an important component of how I live my life i.e. how do I learn. I understand there would be a lot of pivoting but as with all things in life, the leap to begin is the most important one and we often procrastinate the important things to do. I am glad and honored that through the medium of this essay, I get to help myself comprehensively and I must admit, I feel immensely fortunate to have got the opportunity to do so. Summary of Vision and Values • Value 1- Family Happiness Starting off with the first value which would be Family Happiness. As I did mention in my Vision and Values essay and would not mind repeating again, it is the people residing in a house that make it a home. Home is what is filled with happiness, with people who support each other in times of ups and downs. I am single child of my parents and am extremely attached to them and I feel they are always worried about me which makes me feel special, important and responsible. I have seen some particularly broken homes from close quarters in the extended parts of my family. It is very important for me to pay it back to my parents what they have done for me and try to replicate the same for my family when I have one. I believe that my parents selflessly like all parents I am sure and they inspire me to do a lot for my family and society too. • Value 2 – Economic Security Economic security is one another important aspect to me. My father saw extreme levels of poverty as a child and as a young adult and did everything he could to not make me feel the same. Coming from a strictly middle class from Bombay, which is, as a matter of fact, a very expensive city to live in, we did not own a house there for 25 years and this distressed my dad.
