I have noticed during my research that mostly all of the police departments have some form on internet connection when it comes to advertising for recruitment. However, some of the agencies have increasing educational requirements for applicants, particularly in larger police agencies, may have restricted the number of recruits. It has become evident that mostly all applicants are concerned with the currents hiring trends. Some departments look at corrections, retired military, & college graduates. Most are also looking into the type of retirement package benefits, in which most advertising has been done through videos or the social media.
