The belief and believers are what make up any religion.l They are what keep the structure of religion in order to continue its existence. The beliefs of a religion are defined as the faith, trust and confidence in a tenet or creed. The believers are those who are empowered by faith, trust and confidence of the religion. For example, in Christianity, Christians are the believers of God and live by God’s will to spread His word. A living, dynamic religion integrated with the belief and believers is the ability to incorporate a religions beliefs into a more modern context to suit the current believers without sacrificing the principle values.

Christian Education is a part of God’s purpose to put everything in Creation under the feet of Christ; it serves as part of His purpose to subdue people from all nations to the glory of God. I also think a Christian Education is a better education, because it feed the soul as well as the mind. It addresses the whole human being; it involves the body, sprit and the mind. One important goal of Christian Education is to teach the student to reason biblically. If each adult person or the parents of younger student took it upon themselves to be more Christ-like and build their foundation of education to glorify God, they would choose the Christian Education over the Public Education, which is controlled by the state.

Christians were promised that if they joined the war, they would be forgiven of sins and guaranteed a place in heaven, which was irresistible to many people. The motto of the first crusade was 'Deus vult,' or 'God wills it.' With these calls to action from the Pope, the lay public became the 'Soldiers of the Church.' Thus, there were internal motivations on the part of the public to fight the war in order to become holier. There were also economic motivations behind the Crusades.
Originally, Columbus was looking for a quick westward route to the spice riched India. Upon discovering the Americas he met the natives of the islands he first ran in to. Columbus describes them as “incurably timid,” and says that once they are assured that there is nothing to fear they become extremely generous. Columbus was unsure of their religion, but he thought that they could easily be converted to christianity. “And I gave a thousand handsome good things, which I had brought, in order that they might conceive affection, and more than that, might become Christians…,”1 By giving them goods, Columbus thought that they would convert to Christianity.
While Holland was religiously tolerant, the country required the Pilgrims to work difficult jobs that were hard on their bodies. In addition to health concerns, the Pilgrims were afraid that the younger members of their congregation were losing touch with their English heritage. They felt like embarking on a journey to the New World would let them establish a community with their own religion and English culture (17). The Pilgrims’ journey was supported by a group of investors known as Merchant Adventurers. Represented by Thomas Weston, the investors were responsible for finding a boat to transport the Pilgrims and periodically sending them supplies during their first years in the New World.
Some would argue that religion is a force for social change. This statement appears to be true because of things such as the civil rights movement in America, and the fact that without religion the changes that occurred during the civil rights movement would have never happened. This is because during the civil rights movement religion helped to mobilise public opinion by the use of preaching. Too get the people motivated for social change preaching would help pass messages across through a religious service and thus motivate people to change laws. A famous example of this was Martin Luther Kings ‘I have a dream’ speech, his use of religion in his passionate speech for equality helped to motivate people in society to push for social change, and ultimately changed America’s legislation and outlook on integration and equality between the black and white community in America.
Thus separation of church and state came into play, with hopes of keeping public morality and avoiding corrupting embrace from the government.
