The world has been set up into 12 sectors. They are all very poor, and each sector has special duties. One sector specializes in mining while another specializes in farming, and the other ten have their own specific duties. All sectors are poor, and the “state” takes their produce to distribute to the other sectors, but mostly keep it all for themselves. The two main characters are Katniss and Peeta. Only two other tributes besides Katniss and Peeta remain. Teich 3 The game makers are anxious to get the Games over with and announce the winner, so they computerize wild dogs into the Games. The dogs quickly kill off one other contestant, and are in pursuit of Peeta and Katniss. They run to the center of the arena and jump on a metal hut. The last of the tributes was actually waiting on the hut for them. He grabs Peeta and is about to throw him to the dogs, but Katniss shoots him with a bow and he falls off the hut. The dogs kill him, and Peeta and Katniss wait anxiously to be proclaimed winners. They are then sent back to their sectors, where they are warmly welcomed and greeted. The movie ends then, but only until the second one comes out. This was a great movie, and I highly recommend it to anyone except kids under twelve. “The Hunger Games” movie came from the book series “The Hunger Games”.
