Many people have a dream of starting and running their own businesses during their life-times. Lots of them want to work without a despotic boss, who says them what to do. Unfortunately, the reality doesn’t look so beautiful – having own business has not only advantages, but also disadvantages. The person who starts their own business may see multiple advantages in doing so. The business owner can decide workers, working hours and the salary. It means that they can have a sense of freedom that some might not in the traditional work-for-employer workplace. In addition, starting a business allows the creator to take part in marketing, sales and business development. This allows the business owner to be more creative and involved with the whole process and also give them more business opportunities in the future that may be a direct result of taking part in different roles. Moreover, people who start their own business have the flexibility to earn as much money as they want and distribute it as they see fit. They can earn more money for themselves by being the sole employee or by paying just a few employees. On the other hand, having your own company is connected with a huge responsibility. As a boss, you have to always think about what is the best for your company. Very often it means that staying long at work, even at night, having no time for your wife and children. It is very hard to find a while for a rest, and your life may be full of stress. And don’t forget that having an own company is very risky. Many companies go bankrupt because of some mistakes or market’s changes. An entrepreneur is subject to every crisis, and can never be sure whether he will be successful or not.
