Hard work really does pay off Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better known by her stage name Lady Gaga has worked hard for her fame. When she was younger than five years old she was playing piano and she started writing songs when she was just 14 years old. She had been playing in clubs in New York and writing songs for the likes of Britney Spears until she was discovered. Since then, she hasn't stopped and she proves that hard work pays off - her debut album 'The Fame' went DIAMOND, meaning it sold over 10,000,000 million copies; she's won numerous awards, including two Grammy awards and three Brit awards. She's performed for Barack Obama and the Queen of England. She has worked hard for her fame and you can't deny that and she is someone who is a all about her fans, expresses how she feels and inspires teens to work hard and shows that it does pay off . Gaga is also a wonderful person. At the moment, she is working with Cyndi Lauper to raise awareness for AIDS/HIV. All the money earned from one night of her current tour, The Monster Ball, went to Haiti. She has expressed her feelings on equality - she has spoken at the National Equality March for LGBT rights. She believes everyone is equal and doesn't judge. Gaga is all about her fans. When she was younger, she didn't fit in at school, and she doesn't want her fans (or anyone for that matter) to feel like she did - so she created a 'space' for them. A space where they could be free to be who they truly are, just like herself. Some may say Gaga's songs have no meaning and they are just mindless auto-tuned pop songs. They actually have meaning The Fame Monster is about conquering her fears and people can relate to this. She expresses how she feels and doesn't care what people think. Sure, she doesn't dress like everyone else and people may call that weird, but isn't it better to be yourself
